It seems like the round shaped gear boxes no one really says anything about. Based on looking through several ads in print and on-line, these "new style" gear boxes all appear to be more square in shape. Ads often refer to "new style gear boxes". I have a few questions for anyone who may have some insight:ฤก. While I'm keeping my SQ840, I've been considering buying a 15' batwing for myself and have been looking at several used BH 2615 Legends. It saved me considerable time and allowed me to trim much closed under tree canopies and closer to the lake. Over the summer, a friend loaned me his new 15' Land Pride batwing rotary cutter. I certainly use it for its intended purpose around the farm and have logged many, many hours with it. I bought it from a guy who used it more like a finish mower, he actually sold it to buy a finish mower. It's a 7 foot, 3 pt mount rotary cutter and has been tough as nails. I bought a 02' model Bush Hog Squealer SQ840 in the spring of 2009.
